Intranquility Spell

I want to do an intranquility spell, I plan on anointing a pink candle with the oil and then repeating the psalm recommended for this spell. The only thing is, I'm not really a firm believer of the psalms, I believe in reincarnation and don't feel comfortable using this prayer, would it be ok for me to substitute it with my own prayer?

Um, I don't think i'd work with a spirit i didn't feel comfortable with. And I'm not sure if the spell would work if you're not putting everything into it.

If you don't feel comfortable with the psalms, then use another spell / oil, there are many that could be used for the same purpose.
